| We welcome diversity
(cultural, religious, life perspective). It is a pleasure for us to
learn about you and to understand what you would like in your
ceremony. The moment you exchange your vows is one of life's
more significant and magic moments. We want to be sure it is
exactly as you wish. Couples select us
when they want ease in planning their ceremony and joy in the
day-of-wedding celebration. We are the type of people your
grandmother . . . as well as your "baby brother". . . feel comfortable
with.
We are ordained ministers and are currently
registered in Washington, Oregon, Hawaii and North Carolina. This
said, we are comfortable with a variety of ceremony perspectives:
civil, spiritual or religious). We have the experience (over 15
years and 2,000 weddings), writing skills and resources for your
ceremony to be meaningful and reflective of your relationship.
Working with couples who live as far away as
Italy, Japan, Germany, Canada, as well as across the U.S., and from
Seattle itself, you can marry quickly and easily. (Do remember thought
there is a three-day waiting period in the State of Washington.)
We use email, phone calls and Skype to get to
know each other.
We love officiating and would be
honored to officiate for you!
Here are some of the questions
couples ask of us: How far
in advance do we need to contact you?
If your marriage license is valid (remember to apply for it three days
prior to the wedding), we are likely to be available the same day you
call. What can we expect?
One couple, Betsy and Raymond, described being in a relaxed,
peaceful environment where they felt completely accepted. They
also said. "We have splendid memories of our cozy, loving wedding
ceremony. We can't imagine anyone creating a better experience
than you did."
Do we have a choice of an
officiant?
Yes, you do. Both Kent and I officiate so if you have a
preference, let us know.
How far do you travel?
We are adventurous and have celebrated weddings on Mt. Rainier, at
various places around the Hood Canal and Puget Sound, aboard ferries,
in remote cabins and more. There is a travel fee of $1/round
trip mile from the Green Lake area.
Where do most of your ceremonies take place?
We are located in the Green Lake area. You are welcome to
marry in our home/office in front of our fireplace, at the lake or in
Woodland Park. We also travel to your home or favorite location.
Can we write our own vows?
We love it when you do. A collection of ceremonies is
provided as part of our services. You are welcome to edit them,
modify them, combine them. In short, it is your ceremony and we
invite you to select wording that you love. |
